Con-Tech provides ibc-pipe-fittings in stainless steel

Con-Tech provides IBC parts & pipe fittings in stainless steel and a variety of sizes and configurations. Con-Tech’s IBC parts & pipe fittings include elbows, nipples, and sweep elbows.

Con-Tech began providing IBC parts & pipe fittings in response to the needs of the storage container industry. Con-Tech’s global suppliers manufacture our IBC parts & pipe fittings to exacting specifications for leak-proof performance and fully test them for compliance with our high-quality standards. Con-Tech offers a wide range of IBC parts & fittings including Voyager Ball Valves, IBC bolted rings, cam lock couplings for tote tanks, IBC closures, IBC covers, IBC gaskets, IBC labels, IBC lids and components, IBC pipe fittings, and IBC vents.

Con-Tech recognized the need as the IBC, a reusable flexible or rigid cross between a drum and industrial bulk transport which can be moved by forklifts or pallet trucks, became more common. The concept of the IBC was first patented in the 1990s and the cube-shaped IBC’s easily stored and shipped and uses space more efficiently than other containers. In addition, the IBC’s durability and easy handling make it a preferred form of global packaging.

The stackable rigid IBC comes in many sizes from the frequently used 275 and 330 US gallon IBC up to 793-gallon IBC. The rigid IBC is made of metal, plastic or a composite and most have a built-in valve through which the contents can be poured. The flexible IBC also can be made of fiberboardwoodaluminum, and folding plastic. Composite IBCs use plastic liners that are versatile and economical.

IBCs may be purchased or leased. They typically contain a vast array of items from paints, chemicals and petrochemicals to food, pharmaceuticals, healthcare products and commodities. Con-Tech continues to provide IBC parts & pipe fittings to all of these industries.
