Grateful, Humble and Proud

November is a time to be grateful for those brave men and women who sacrificed and fought for freedom in this country. To our veterans, thank you. New Orleans is a wonderful place to celebrate our veterans, especially at the National World War II Museum, just minutes from our offices.

We are proud of our connection to the World War II and the Higgins boat, manufactured here in New Orleans and now on display at the museum. Our founder’s mother worked on assembling the watercraft during the war and that can-do spirit was passed on to her son. We are humbled by the enormity of the sacrifices so many families made.

Speaking of proud, last month, Con-Tech International was recognized for its diligence in the supply chain industry through the International Trade Council’s Go Global Awards. Placing third from over 6400 entrants is a massive honor and we couldn’t be more proud!

The International Trade Council‘s Go Global Awards help celebrate the businesses that are are innovative, unique and enterprising. Con-Tech presented its case in front of a prestigious panel of international business leaders and explained how our services are needed now, more than ever, to help customers get the products they need.

“A moment of gratitude makes a difference in your attitude.” Here at Con-Tech, we are so grateful to our customers and suppliers who have worked diligently along with us to get our parts and products out. 2020 was a challenging year and we have continued to grow our business and our success.

We will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after, in order for our staff to enjoy time with their families and loved ones. We sincerely hope you take some time and be with those you love as well. As you gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, remember:

“It is not joy that makes us grateful; it is gratitude that makes us joyful.”
