Thanks to You and to Those That Serve

Con-Tech wants to give thanks and is proud to salute our veterans this month and every month. Pictured here is U.S. Army Veteran Mr. Lawrence Brooks, who (is a New Orleans native) at age 110, is currently the oldest living World War II veteran. Thank you for your service, sir!

The Con-Tech family was instrumental in the war effort, working on Higgins boats here in New Orleans. Many of those boats and information about their manufacturing can be found at the National World War II Museum, just down the street from our offices. It is a must-see for visitors to New Orleans and ranked in the top 10 museums in the world! Read more about Con’Tech’s connection to World War II on our Founder page.

The month of November is a time to reflect on what we have and are grateful for. 2019 has been a challenging year with respect to business, particularly for the steel and aluminum industry. With a keen eye and an ability to source a variety of suppliers, Con-Tech has been able to continue serving its long-standing customers and many new ones as well. We look forward to another prosperous year and more positive changes in these industries.

Con-Tech wants to give thanks and wish all of our customers, friends, and family a very safe and fulfilling holiday season. We are closed on November 28 and 29 so that our employees can enjoy time with their loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving!
